Dr. Douglas Sysel DVM, owner of Jomax In Home Veterinary Care provides service in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding cities. He has been a practicing veterinarian for over 30 years. During that time he has owned and managed veterinary hospitals in both Arizona and California. More recently, in order to better accommodate the busy schedules of pet owners and contain costs associated with quality veterinary care, Dr Sysel has developed an In Home Veterinary practice.

Experience has taught Dr. Sysel that the key to success in veterinary medicine is providing the very best care to pets and at the same time communicating effectively with their owners. Dr. Sysel is able to do this both affordably and conveniently by visiting pets and their owners at their homes or offices.

Just like people, pets require both care when they become ill or injured as well as routine examinations that can prevent disease from occurring. It is often challenging to keep up with our own and family member’s health care appointments. Meeting these needs often requires us to travel long distances through traffic and then wait to be seen. This is time consuming and stressful for any of us but particularly so for our pets.

In their own home pets are not exposed to other pets and their illnesses while they are in a waiting area and instead are examined and treated in a place where they feel most comfortable and secure.

Dr. Sysel is available by appointment or to provide emergency veterinary care. Services include:

  • General exams and evaluations
  • Preventative care
  • Neutering and minor surgical procedures
  • Medications
  • New Puppy and Kitten packages
  • Emergency treatment
  • End of Life care
  • Vaccination and health care certificates

Remember, Jomax In Home Veterinary Care is designed to not only be convenient and less stressful for you and your pet but it was designed to also be extremely cost effective. Quality In Home care can be reasonably priced. Dr. Sysel brings his veterinary knowledge and experience to your home and is able to pass on his savings in overhead to YOU.

Call Dr. Sysel today to learn more about Jomax In Home Veterinary Care or to make an appointment.

    Jane D.
  • "Dr. Sysel has cared for all of our pets (labrador, boxer and french bulldog) for the past 25 years. He’s always gone the extra mile with all care needed at all times. My family and I have felt very fortunate and most importantly, so have our pets. Now with Dr. Sysel making house calls, it is so convenient and such a pleasant way to manage the care and treatment for our dog. I’m looking forward to our next home visit, and so is our our French Bulldog Hank!"
